Table & Place

Privacy and your seating plan

The tool works with your plan in this browser.

Guest lists are processed locally

The current tool does not upload guest names, student names, party labels, notes, table positions or keep-apart rules. Files you choose to import are read in your browser. The site has no account system, advertising scripts, analytics service or tracking-cookie feature. Its scripts, styles and fonts are served with the site.

Saved drafts are not a secure vault

Working plans are saved in this site’s browser storage when storage is available. Event and classroom plans can be retained separately. The tool does not add encryption to those records. Someone with access to your browser profile may be able to read them.

Use only the personal information needed for the seating task. Avoid unnecessary health, safeguarding or other sensitive details, particularly on shared devices. “Private notes” means omitted from printed charts; it does not mean encrypted.

Downloads and printing

Guest CSV exports and full JSON backups contain your planning notes. Printed charts omit those notes but include names and assignments. Review a download before emailing it or placing it in shared storage. Choosing a printer, cloud drive or email service involves that service’s own handling of the file.

Downloads are separate copies. Clearing this site’s browser data does not remove files you have downloaded or printed.

Deletion and data loss

You can remove individual people or start a new plan in each mode. To remove all drafts for this site, clear its site data through your browser’s privacy settings. Do this separately in every browser or device you used.

Private browsing, storage restrictions, browser cleanup or a change of device or site address can make a saved plan unavailable. Keep a JSON backup when the work matters. There is no server copy for the maintainer to recover.

Ordinary website requests

Delivering the website can expose ordinary request information to the hosting provider, such as your IP address, requested URL, request time and browser headers. This is separate from the chart contents, which the tool does not submit. This site does not specify a guaranteed retention period for provider-operated logs.

If you choose to send a contact message, the information you include leaves your device through your email service. Read about the tool or return to the planner.
